Super funds, insurers line up to get into financial advice game
Superannuation funds and insurers plan to invest heavily in developing financial advice offerings made possible by government reforms announced on Thursday, but say they will not be ready for customers until at least mid-2025.
Labor proposed a suite of laws that would reopen the provision of personal advice to funds, insurers and banks, adopting most of the recommendations of an independent inquiry into the quality of advice last year.
