Set an ATAR-style uni entrance score for foreign students: Rizvi
A university entrance exam for international students that tests academic merit would be a simple and effective measure to ensure high-quality enrolments while limiting numbers, a leading migration expert says.
Both government and Coalition proposals to reduce the number of international students in Australia are risky and would trigger a raft of negative consequences for the broader economy, commentator Abul Rizvi told the National Press Club on Wednesday.
