Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has condemned the antisemitic vandalism of a synagogue in Sydney’s inner-west as “abhorrent” and called for the perpetrators to face the full force of the law.
The Newtown Synagogue in Sydney’s inner-west was targeted early on Saturday, with red swastikas spray-painted across its walls. The attack came after the Southern Sydney Synagogue in Allawah was vandalised with similar antisemitic graffiti on Friday.
