Row intensifies over disclosing JobKeeper recipients’ details

Business groups and the government have denounced attempts to forcibly disclose the individual details of JobKeeper recipients, but an independent MP leading the charge vowed to persist, saying taxpayers had a right to know the details of “a big prudential stuff-up”.

Senator Rex Patrick, the Labor Party, the Greens and others in the Senate are trying to force the disclosure of JobKeeper details for every business with a turnover of more than $10 million.
