Robo-debt ‘bullies, sycophants’ not the public service Shorten knows

A cabal of bullies and sycophants was responsible for suppressing frank and fearless advice about robo-debt, Government Services Minister Bill Shorten says, but it does not reflect the overall quality of the public service.
“One lesson of robo-debt is about what happens when co-operation and honesty and respect break down,” Mr Shorten said.
