‘Remembrance, reflection, gratitude’: Australians pause for Anzac Day

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has used Anzac Day commemorations to call for better recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Diggers, conceding some veterans had been poorly treated after returning home.
Australians paused around the country on Tuesday, attending dawn services and commemorative marches on the 108th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings in World War I.
