Redistribution puts teals, Liberals at risk
Labor has lost a key seat in Victoria but could replace it by picking up a newly created electorate in Western Australia, in an electoral redistribution that could also shape the political fortunes of teal Monique Ryan.
Draft redistributions of Victoria and Western Australia unveiled by the Australian Electoral Commission on Friday include the Melbourne Labor seat of Higgins being abolished.
