Push to include ‘right to disconnect’ in IR changes
Labor will come under pressure from the Greens to give workers the right to block their bosses’ calls and ignore emails as part of tense negotiations over the government’s latest round of industrial relations changes.
The Albanese government will need the support of the crossbench to pass its second tranche of workplace law changes before Christmas, with key Senate votes, including David Pocock and Jacqui Lambie, yet to be locked in.
