Labor’s National Anti-Corruption Commission legislation is set to pass parliament before the end of next week, with the controversial provision which will exclude almost all hearings from being in public remaining intact.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said on Tuesday the government had agreed to some recommendations from a parliamentary committee, including broader safeguards for journalists and vulnerable people.
