A man who went on a stabbing rampage in Sydney's central business district on Tuesday had a history of mental illness and was carrying white supremacist terrorism-related material when he was arrested, New South Wales police have confirmed.
Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said the 21-year-old man from Marayong was carrying material about other terrorist attacks in North America and New Zealand when he was arrested.
