PM tops up hospital funding, but states still lag on NDIS reform

The states will receive an extra $1.7 billion in public hospital funding next financial year as part of a deal which requires them to help relieve the financial burden of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The money, part of a promised five-year funding boost, was handed over despite no state yet to honour their end of the deal.
