PM should apologise to Holgate over ouster: report

A Senate report into the Australia Post Cartier watches saga has called on the Morrison government to apologise to ousted chief executive Christine Holgate and for board chairman Lucio Di Bartolomeo to resign.

Ms Holgate quit the government-owned corporation in November after it was revealed she spent nearly $20,000 on luxury watches for executives, sparking a more than six-month controversy for the corporation and the Morrison government.
