NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has elevated nine first-time ministers into cabinet and added three new portfolios – Cities, Science, Innovation and Technology, and Homes – in a sweeping reshuffle that stamps his authority on the front bench.

Deputy Premier and Nationals leader Paul Toole takes over as the Minister of Police from David Elliott, who will take on the ministries of Transport and Veterans.
