Berejiklian backs Perrottet as Nationals pick Barilaro’s replacement

Former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian backed her successor, Dominic Perrottet as she made her first public appearance since quitting on Friday.
The NSW Nationals chose Regional Transport Minister Paul Toole as party leader and therefore deputy premier. Mental Health Minister Bronnie Taylor becomes the junior Coalition partner’s first woman deputy leader for the state branch.
