Fatima Payman was wrong to split with the Labor Party over a Greens motion recognising Palestinian statehood, a majority of readers surveyed by The Australian Financial Review has found.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Labor have been rocked by the West Australian senator’s decision to cross the floor and quit the party, after weeks of publicly agitating over the Israel-Gaza war.
