‘Offensive’ social media companies shamed for letting scams thrive

Financial Services Minister Stephen Jones says social media giants are “dragging their heels” in the fight against the multi-billion scourge of scams that is putting the economic benefits of digital commerce at risk.
Mr Jones will use a speech to the National Press Club on Wednesday to shame social media giants for letting “scammers use their network to target victims”.
