NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says she will be guided by experts, "not politicians" on hazard reduction burns, responding to Scott Morrison's pressure for a bushfire royal commission to investigate state management of fuel loads.
Mr Morrison ramped up calls for a proposed federal inquiry to scrutinise the states pre-fire preparations, such as prescribed burns, land management and building codes.
