NSW’s tough ICAC law would stifle Victoria’s unethical behaviour

Strengthening Victoria’s weak public corruption test to that of NSW would stifle the type of “grey corruption” that its integrity body has found the Victorian government has practised, according to experts.

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption on Thursday concluded Ms Berejiklian had engaged in “serious corrupt conduct by breaching public trust” through the awarding of grants to the electorate of former Wagga Wagga MP Darryl Maguire “without disclosing her close personal relationship” with him.
