Andrews' inquiry a masterclass in political deflection: Mikakos

Victoria's ousted Health Minister Jenny Mikakos says the state's $5.7 million hotel quarantine inquiry has failed to answer key questions and has accused Premier Daniel Andrews of conducting a masterclass in political deflection.

Monday's final report failed to identify who made the fatal decision to hire private security guards as part of the bungled scheme, finding it was "an orphan" for which neither Mr Andrews, nor any of his ministers took responsibility.
