Independent MPs Zali Steggall and Allegra Spender are the latest teal MPs to play down links to Climate 200 and founder Simon Holmes à Court, insisting the contribution of the crowdfunding group to their re-election campaigns will be much reduced.

Steggall, who represents the electorate of Warringah on Sydney’s northern beaches, said she had received no Climate 200 funding for the upcoming federal election, despite being listed by the group as one of the 35 candidates it supports.
