Incoming Business Council of Australia CEO Bran Black has nominated tax reform as a priority, as he identified lifting productivity as the nation’s most significant economic challenge.
In doing so, Mr Black, who most recently was chief of staff to former NSW Liberal premier Dominic Perrottet, pledged to maintain the fight against the federal government’s soon-to-be-released second tranche of industrial relations laws if, as the business community fears, they hammer productivity.
