The federal government’s new top scientific adviser says Australia is perfectly positioned to ride the global artificial intelligence boom through its access to sources of renewable energy. He also pledged to carefully consider the development of ocean wave energy, fusion and nuclear power – energy sources that are not commercially available in Australia.
