Scott Morrison intends to speak in defence of his five secret ministries during Wednesday’s censure motion, and has thanked his colleagues for their support in refusing to join Labor in condemning him.
With the Coalition branding the motion a stunt and a distraction from the pressing issues of the day, the government is also playing down the occasion, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese unlikely to speak.
