Morrison to be censured, but Coalition won’t join in

Scott Morrison will be censured by parliament this week, but his Coalition colleagues will not support the move, believing the government’s pursuit of the former prime minister over his five secret ministries has become gratuitous.

Mr Morrison, who is already a focus of the Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme, and who will be subject next year to a royal commission into the COVID-19 pandemic response, will be censured by the House of Representatives for his secret ministries.
