Donald Trump's jarring conduct on Wednesday night in which he declared, without foundation, the mail-in ballot process to be fraudulent, that he had won and that the courts must stop more votes being counted, was the President being a narcissist to the end.

The leader of what is supposed to be the world's greatest democracy did his utmost to undermine that democracy because, in this instance, he feared it would not serve his interests.
