Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his ministry have clearly heeded this message throughout the course of the recent jobs summit, embracing controversial plans to reintroduce multi-employer bargaining, essentially amounting to industry-wide bargaining, last widely utilised in this country in the 1990s (“Business gets more than it bargained for”, September 3-4).
