Teal independents Zoe Daniel and Allegra Spender have joined the Albanese government in castigating the Greens for cosying up to the CFMEU, saying the minor party was giving succour to the union’s misogyny, violence and other toxic behaviour.

As Greens leader Adam Bandt defended his party’s embrace of the CFMEU, including the attendance at a rally on Tuesday by MP Max Chandler-Mather, Labor ministers accused the minor party of embracing an increasingly dark culture.
