Anthony Albanese and his team are contemplating urgent changes to the Labor leader’s campaign style after a disastrous start that has shaken morale and boosted the government’s confidence.
With the Easter weekend looming as a much-needed circuit breaker ahead of the May 21 election, Mr Albanese gave a public assurance on Tuesday he would “shake off” the effects of Monday’s stumble when he was unable to nominate the unemployment rate, the cash rate or the current price of petrol.
