Leading director Jillian Broadbent is fed up with the Morrison government and is part of a group of high-powered corporate women backing Allegra Spender’s bid to unseat Liberal MP Dave Sharma in one of most fiercely contested federal electorates in the country.

“[I have a sense] of total frustration with nearly every single action this government takes and every individual. As soon as they open their mouth, I find myself cringing. I’m thinking: ‘Where is the genuine vision in that?’ There doesn’t seem to be anything about what they believe in,” Ms Broadbent said.
