Vegan activist vows to defy government crackdown on protests
The vegan activist being threatened with jail and multi-million dollar fines by the Morrison government for inspiring protests at farms and abattoirs is unrepentant, vowing to continue to publicise their locations so they can go on being targeted.
Melbourne documentary maker Chris Delforce accused the government of bordering on "totalitarianism" after Attorney-General Christian Porter vowed a re-elected Morrison government would introduce jail terms of up to 12 months for animal activists who incited "vigilante" protests online.
