Jacqui Lambie open to union bill deal after repealing medevac

Fresh from enabling the government to repeal the medevac bill for asylum seekers, crossbench Senator Jacqui Lambie has indicated she is open to doing a deal to pass the government's union-busting Ensuring Integrity Bill.

Just before Senator Lambie cast her crucial vote to torpedo the medevac legislation on Wednesday, Industrial Relations Minister Christian Porter offered her an olive branch by reintroducing the union legislation, but with an amendment to review the laws after two years.
