Today, Grace Tame and Brittany Higgins appeared at the National Press Club in Canberra where Ms Tame claimed she was pressured by government agency not to criticise PM. An investigation into the claim has begun. Ms Higgins said she is worried momentum she sparked for a safer Australia for women is fading. Both women called for the full implementation of the 28 recommendations in a report by Kate Jenkins into sexual harassment.

Labor will push for changes to Scott Morrison’s religious freedom laws but, if unsuccessful, will most likely wave them through with the promise of “fixing” it when in government.

The Australian Industry Group has called on the Victorian government to scrap the requirement for workers returning to offices to continue to wear masks.

And around the country there were 31,016 new COVID-19 cases and 70 deaths reported.
