The Albanese government is ignoring the real problems with the industrial relations system, and instead is focusing on introducing productivity-sapping changes that are driven by slogans and myths, the nation’s peak industry group says.

As the government prepares to introduce to parliament next month its second tranche of industrial relations changes, Australian Industry Group chief executive Innes Willox says none of the proposed changes will help lift all-important productivity.
