ICAC deal ‘flipping the bird’ at voters: Pocock

Crossbenchers have hit out at possible collusion between the major parties on the creation of a national anti-corruption commission, describing a Labor -Coalition deal as akin to “flipping the bird” at voters.

As the Albanese government prepares to introduce long-awaited legislation for its integrity body into parliament next week, negotiations between Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and Labor are continuing.
