Political benefactor Simon Holmes à Court has ruled out pressuring independents to back a particular party to form government if the looming federal election produces another hung parliament, insisting donations from his organisation Climate 200 comes with no strings attached.
Appearing at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Mr Holmes à Court also said there was no need to register his fundraising vehicle Climate 200 as a political party because it was not directly running candidates.
