High Court win for corruption bodies comes with a warning
Victoria’s anti-corruption body dodged a bullet on Wednesday when the High Court ruled it had largely acted correctly during an investigation into alleged email misuse at a public body.
The nation’s top court ruled the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission had provided sufficient information to the subject of that investigation three years ago, rejecting the subject’s claim there had been a denial of natural justice.
