Frydenberg, Liu win legal fight over election signage

Treasurer Josh Frygenberg and Liberal MP Gladys Liu did not mislead Mandarin-speaking voters by using signage in similar colours to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) that told them the "right way to vote", the Federal Court has ruled.

However, the court ruled Mr Frydenberg's senior adviser, Simon Frost, authorised the sign when he was the registered officer of the Victorian division of the Liberal Party.
