Foreign ships port ban only temporary, Solomons Islands PM says

Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare insists a ban on foreign navy ships docking at his country is only temporary after US and British vessels were refused entry in the past fortnight.

Defence Minister Richard Marles ducked questions about whether Australian warships had been affected by the moratorium on port visits, saying there were ongoing conversations with Honiara.
