Three violent criminals including a murderer released from immigration detention following the High Court’s controversial NZYQ decision will be permanently resettled in Nauru.
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke revealed the deal between Australia and the Pacific island nation on Sunday, and indicated more of the 149 people set free by the High Court would follow in coming weeks.
