Falling Voice support might already be fatal: pollsters

The Yes campaign needs to secure as much as 52.5 per cent of the national vote to win next month’s Voice to parliament referendum, pollsters say, suggesting continued falling support for the plan might already be fatal.

Just 35 days out, polling industry figures have expressed confidence about the methodology being used to track sentiment about the proposal for Indigenous constitutional recognition, counselling poll watchers that results in the final weeks of the campaign will be the most reliable.
