Economic reform must be about confidence, not ideology

The bureaucrat in charge of the Morrison government's coronavirus recovery strategy has cautioned confidence needs to be at the centre of the post-pandemic reform process and ideology must take a back seat.
And business leaders say after more than two decades of low investment, low productivity and falling dynamism, Australia cannot afford to waste the opportunity of the coronavirus pandemic for structural reform.
