Andrews eyes election after condemning ‘vile’ rumours

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has condemned the “vile” and “wicked” rumours about his horror fall during his first day back at work, as he switched from COVID-19 to next year’s election.

On Monday Mr Andrews returned to work for the first time since his fall on March 9, after recovering from broken ribs and spinal damage he suffered slipping on wet stairs in a holiday rental home in Sorrento, on the Mornington Peninsula.
