The Coalition will use Climate 200’s support for three former members of the Australian Greens to prosecute its claim that community independents backed by the Simon Holmes a Court-founded fundraising group are more aligned to the Greens than the Liberal or National parties.

Sue Chapman in the West Australian electorate of Forrest, Verity Cooper in the South Australian electorate of Sturt and Caz Heise in the electorate of Cowper on the NSW North Coast are all on the record as having been Greens members, with Cooper only quitting the party last year.
