Chief Executive Women calls for childcare, parental leave reform

A group of leading female executives wants the government to bring forward planned increases to the childcare subsidy to January and overhaul the state parental leave scheme to increase women’s workforce participation and help ease the jobs crisis.

In a submission to this week’s jobs summit, Chief Executive Women called for better childcare support to be fast tracked and a long-term plan for universal access for all children to a minimum of three days a week of flexible care.
