Labor and the Coalition look set to agree to an overhaul of Australia’s political donations rules as soon as this week, lifting a proposed cap on how much voters can give candidates and increasing a key disclosure threshold.
As all sides count down to the start of the federal election campaign, a possible vote on changes proposed by Special Minister of State Don Farrell has been scheduled for Thursday.
