Cap big four public service consulting fees: Greens

Big four consulting firms Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC would lose out from a new Greens' policy to cap public service spending on consultants and contractors and restore jobs to Howard-era levels.

The policy would see about 15,000 new public servants recruited to departments and agencies, as well as pay rises of 4 per cent a year for bureaucrats.
