Leading Australian business figures Patricia Cross, Nicholas Moore and Joanna Horgan have led the King’s Birthday honours, recognised for outstanding service and exceptional achievement in the Order of Australia.

Legendary entertainer Barry Humphries was posthumously appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia, for eminent achievement and merit of the highest degree in service to Australia or to humanity at large. Humphries, whose characters included Dame Edna Everage, died in April.
