Big capital descended on Parliament House in Canberra on Tuesday for a series of roundtable discussions with Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Energy Minister Chris Bowen.

The Australian Financial Review was in the room for Dr Chalmers’ welcome speech, which focused largely on the Albanese government’s push to corral private capital to fund its policy priorities.
