ASIC breached my human rights, says Clive Palmer
Eccentric billionaire businessman Clive Palmer sought to have criminal charges brought against him by the corporate regulator thrown out, claiming they breached his human rights.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission charged Mr Palmer with an alleged breach of director’s duties and fraud over $12 million he paid from his company Mineralogy to his now-defunct Palmer United Party.
