Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is under fire for his decision to attend the wedding of controversial radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands, alongside a colourful guest list that includes a convicted drug smuggler.

Questioned about the wisdom of his attendance at the Saturday nuptials, the prime minister said he was “not in charge of the invite list” and lauded Sandilands as an “Australian success story”.
